Monochromatic

Lately my focus has been taking on new adventures and a part of that made me lose the will to post something up here. I woke up today with the thought of recording my activities in my blog to show you guys my experiences.

My friends and I headed up North to catch some waves for us to surf. From The Fort, it took us roughly 4 hours to get to our destination and along our way, we got to witness nature and different cultures that we don't normally see in the city. As we got to Crystal Beach (the surf spot), the waves weren't that big but then we were told to walk a few meters off the area to where the waves are ideal for surfing. It was fun and I can say that I'd like to keep doing this kind of adventure. Surfing itself was fun but I can really say that the surf culture amuses me. Everyone in the area including the locals were accommodating and friendly. They also had a very chill vibe. As we walked into the their grounds, they had a  camping site with tents, cabanas, fire pits, a play ground and other things that you would normally see while camping.

During the afternoon, we played beach volley under the sun and that was really challenging because the sun was furious and it made the sand really hot. Nevertheless, it was a great match. After playing, we lounged at one of the cabanas by the beach and saw the waves greatly increasing. After seeing the waves, we decided to get into the water and go against the 5 foot waves. It was strong and a lot of people were also there to enjoy it. Times like these remind me of the simple pleasures in life; Genuinely fun without a single cent spent. The force of the waves made each and everyone powerless, and that's what made it fun.

We ended the trip at 5pm and headed to Subic Bay for dinner. The restaurant was by the beach and the sun came down while we were having dinner. There was still time left to explore Subic and so we ended up in a mountain top surrounded by trees fronting the bay and the city lights.

I'ts never complete without the dog.

This is my first post which covered all black and white photos. The effect of the Black and White's speak more than the usual colored HDR images; that's why I chose to make everything monochromatic

I haven't uploaded pictures from the GoPro camera yet but I will soon.
